"Go Head"-Friday Knight Remix

Had fun mixing this one too. I had never heard this song until about a month ago, and even thought I liked the beat, I heard a sample while watching "Madam Claude" (dope movie btw...) that put the remix together in my head so I entertained myself and made a small tribute out of it for those that don't know her accomplishments and success story.

"Warning"-Friday Knight Remix

A couple of BIG facts:

-BIG surprised Lil Fame (of M.O.P.) with his mention on “Warning”, but they were actually cool before rap and knew a lot of the same people.

-BIG wanted Nas on a remix for “Gimme The Loot” but Nas needed more time to write.

“If You Don’t Know, Now You Know…”

I saw an opportunity to experiment so I edited them both into the video... along with a couple of relevant shots from the classic “Belly” (Nas, DMX, T-Boz) to add a lil extra seasoning to the concept.

-In an interview with Dj Khaled, Nas talks about the night in the studio when he was supposed to write his verse…

“He wanted to get me on Ready To Die, and by the time I finished my first joint that was already out. He was trying to get me on Ready To Die, and it never happened. So he wanted to do the ‘Gimme The Loot’ remix,” said Nas. “He put up the beat, and I started writing. But he started smoking.”

Esco continued, “He had some of that chocolate. He lit some of that up, and it was late. We’re lit. I’m like, ‘I ain’t got nothing. This is over today.’"

KnightMusik + Prodigy Of MOBB Deep: "Life Is What You Make It" -Friday Knight Remix

(R.I.P. Prodigy: 11.2.74-6.20.17)

Prodigy has got to be one of the most underrated conscience gangster rappers in Hip Hop history. Going from Havoc showing him how to rap to solidifying his exceptional and thoughtful lyrical talents on his solo debut "H.N.I.C.", Prodigy has mastered the art of "mixing the medicine with the food". This song is a clear example.

KnightMusik + Lloyd Banks & Juelz Santana: "Beamer, Benz Or Bentley" -Friday Knight Remix

Sometimes I come across a song that I think I have a beat for and it just works. This was one of those songs.

The track "Electric RubberBandz" was produced years ago, and it's a simple track but definitely has potential if you know what do with it.
